    Dream shop....your opinions

Howdy On My shop I went 40' X 60' X 16', which is really 39' X 59' X 16'. If you are going to put in shelves make sure you plan for that, also I went 16' for motor home parking, lifts and a second floor possible train/office setup. As for the shop construction 3 things Builder carries a...

I second the idea to put in a bathroom. I would put a urinal in there too. Even though guys can just step outside for a pee, especially on a big lot like this, having an indoor head is nice when it's cold out. As for as floor plan programming: A small office and/or clean room, such as 10x10...

Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies?

1966 Monaco Seller reports: "17x7 Chrome U.S. Mags Rambler wheels, running 235/45R17 tires." No backspacing provided but looks to be around 3.5 to 4.0 inches, judging by stated wheel width and placement in wheel wells.

Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

I really like this engine :) fired up immediately even beside the fact the carb was empty. I heard no blow by in the exhaust or carb while giving 100psi+ to the cylinders to hold the valves up. Great!

Ok I'm putting pistons in and did one side. rod number 1-3-5-7 I snugged up the caps as I went but not full torque yet. everything is turning smooth. I got number 2 in and snugged it and it was harder to turn. I went 1 turn and notice I put the cap on backwards ffs. I took it off and popped the...

    Dream shop....your opinions

It seems this is something all of us guys dream about. I know I have been. You mentioned having to apply for a variance. If that is restricting your foot print then go up. I would like to build a a 40 x 32 dutch barn, with heated floors, the walls would probably be 12'. Using 45° rafters...

    Fuel Pump Issues need diagnosis

Kind of strange that the pump rod isn't moving, but sometimes it just is. If you are using an electric pump, you want to put a inertia (crash) switch in the feed for it. They are cheap insurance as it stops the pump if you crash and don't get the ignition turned off. $20-$65 or if you are...
