How to remove odor from the steering wheel of a 67 Fury?

Id try a steam cleaner (don’t linger in one spot too long) with something like 409 or Simple Green.

Paint for Power Steering and A/C Hose Fittings

Have you considered a clear coat? Maybe take wire wheel to them first, followed by a Brillo pad and then a clear coat. You’ll retain natural color and have protection from corrosion.

1968 Monaco fuel gauge all-but died - trying to figure out the likeliest why (or whys)

I had a gauge that read very low too. After replacing the gauges voltage limiter, checking/cleaning the ground strap, and verifying the sending unit function, turned out I had a hole in the float. I replaced that and the sock filter, and now the gauge works great upon startup, but then drifts...

My car is in an upcoming movie

yes, it was the IMCDb that made me aware of a Newport like mine being in any movies at all. The Infiltrator features a black 66 Newport 2 door, but I'm pretty sure it's not my car.

My car is in an upcoming movie

I thought for a little while that my car was in "The Infiltrator" but I can't connect the dots between the car being titled in Wisconsin up until 2019 and it being on location in Florida for filming in 2015. Can't see a '66 Newport driven or trailered that far just for 2 seconds of screen time...

    1971 Chrysler New Yorker:

I noticed a BIG difference in how happy my engine sounded going from a single 2 inch exhaust to dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust. With the original exhaust system, it did not like me mashing the gas pedal at all, and at about 3500 RPM it would sound like it was starting to wheeze from the restrictive...

    1971 Chrysler New Yorker:

Most interesting to me about this video was the chart towards the end of the video that showed the gross and net HP ratings of both the the 383 and 440 engines, with single exhaust vs. dual exhaust. Both engines when equipped with single exhaust exhibited ~30% less power when installed in the...

    '66 Newport 2 Door hardtop

Something I noticed while reviewing the dual exhaust video is how the grille on the ‘66 Newport harkens to the ‘66 Imperial with the “beveling” around the headlights. It’s not as noticeable when parked, but when moving, and as light interacts at different angles, I suddenly noticed this...

    '66 Newport 2 Door hardtop

Well, it took a few weeks to get to making a video because of weather, Daylight Savings time, the election . . . you know, real life stuff. Had to wait for a break in the rain today, but here it is. I like the sound of the exhaust. It's pretty quiet overall, but opens up when you rev it...

    Quick starter relay question

On my 66, it would start sometimes, and not other times. Replacing it with new solved the problem.

just finished my 1969 New Yorker

Unbelievable!! Is the ignition switch really on the left side, like a Pontiac? Never seen that before, but what do I know, I drive a 66! Stunning work!

New guy recently purchased a 66 Newport 2 Door hardtop, looking for a few good parts sources.

OOOOH, this is my problem . . . it was working when it was out of the dash and when I screwed it back in it stopped working with the switch. Now I know why! Thank you! Gonna pull it out and re-swedge it and cross my fingers.

1966 fury 2door HT widest wheel & tire package

FWIW, I'm going to upgrade to 235/70R15 on some 15x7 wheels I got off of a Diplomat. Won't have any worries with that combo and my speedo should stay reasonably accurate.

    66 Exhaust Tips

8 months later, here are my duals with TTI tips. Thanks for all the input. I’m very pleased with the look, and the sound of the 2 1/2” pipes is so huge compared to the single 2” exhaust. Sneak peak video in my YT channel with full video review coming soon.
