Yup, why not beef it up? Makes total sense to me. Yes, my 4 speed is only 18 spline. Don't know what the T&C has - but it hasn't skipped a beat in 15 years...

I was under the impression that 4 planetary gears were definitely NOT in the picture for C bodies in 66 - maybe in 67 or 8? I know that 4 speed C bodies in 65 and 66 got the 10.5" clutch and that got switched to the bigger one in 67 or 8. My trans guy upgraded the 727 in my 66 T&C to a 4...

    1958 Dodge Custom Royal

Love that RHD Australian dash! Was that an import conversion, or is this a true Australian car?

Woops - sorry, misread the diagram. If you really need an accurate measure, let me know, and I'll get it for you tomorrow morning. Nice carbs (said the bishop to the actress).

Sorry for being dense, but can you be more specific about the measurement you're wanting? Perhaps take a picture that's more focussed in on the area, and perhaps a pointer in the picture? Thanks!

65 Sport Fury steel wheel color

That looks like what's called LL1 Dark Turquoise Poly in 1966. That being said, they often had different names for the same colours over the years, and in this case it's called LL1 Royal Turquoise Poly. Either that or the ZZ1 Frost Turqouise Poly. Poly stands for metal-flake.

1966 Monaco - About to remove dash

@66DOGE - the Mad Conversion is a simplewiring bypass procedure that helps deal with the really bad design of the wiring running to and from our amp gauges in our C bodies. The system as it ages is a fire waiting to happen. Look around using the search function at the top right for the...

The anodizing material doesn't polish well, by the way. If you're looking to renew them, best way is to strip them (using Lye based oven cleaner, or have them professionally stripped), polish them and have them re-anodized. The better of the polishing job, the better the anodizing result. The...

How to Install Fan Shroud Bracket Cage Nuts

@GOLDMYN The brackets are hard to find as originals - they are C Body specific if I recall. However, their design isn't rocket science, so you can easily make a set up that will work with some sturdy sheet metal, a sawzall, a vice and a BFH then a driller for the holes. I made a set years...
