    Hilltop auto

I did business with Hiltop in early 2024 and had good e-mail communication with them. Even more important, I received a superb NOS item, just as described.

NOT MINE Mopar big block water pump housing cheap

That's a later version, having the inlet spout pointing to the passenger side. These came beginning in 1972 (?) or 1973.

    1969 Imperial progress thread

When you move the wiper switch in the "off" position, the rotation of the actual motor is reversed. The big white gear then moves in a way so that the slope cast into the white gear moves a lever hinged to the cover to a more inward position. This lever then gets caught in the hook which is...

Is a 70 service manual basically the same as a 69 service manual? Also looking for a good RH mirror and crate engine builder...

While you are right that differences between a 1969 and 1970 Chrysler are minimal and mainly pertain to exteror details, trim and upholstery, there were nevertheless some changes made to the inner works, too, especially concerning fuel and emissions-related parts. Since you are from Australia...

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I think you are referring to L31 fender mounted turn signal indicators (which are actually located in the hood bulges on 1970 Furys, if so ordered). This car has them, which makes sense, because the A01 light package is coded on the fender tag. As you correctly stated, A01 light package includes...

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

Thank you so much! It’s so hard to decipher! Yes, that looks like a T-VON. What does it stand for again? I go with M85 as this indicates front and rear bumper guards and the rear bumper actually has the horizontal rubber strips. L35, on the other hand would indicate cornering lights, which the...

No, unfortunately not. I forgot to ask the owners to pop the hood and take a picture of the fender tag.

DO NOT USE TRICO CLASSIC WIPER BLADES

I used TRICO classic wiper blades that I purchased in 2016 and was (and still am) very happy with the looks, fit and the wiping experience. On a recent trip to the U.S. I tried to purchase rubber refills but no auto parts store seems to carry those anymore.

Greetings and question about Imperial 59 start-up!

100 Ah is the battery capacity (think of energy storage ability), not the cold cranking Amps the battery is able to provide. Still, a 12V 100Ah battery should be able to provide sufficient CCA to turn a 413 engine, even more so if the starter motor has been rebuilt.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I found this on Facebook -- pics of what is said to be a 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible pilot car, VIN CM27K0C100020 Note that the fender tag still has the 1969 paint code L1 (instead of BL1) as well as the 1969 engine designation "K" while the VIN schows "T" instead. Despite the sparsely...
