    Timing chain slipped a tooth?

I think I would get a known good distributor from @halifaxhops . I sure don't have much faith in mechanical or electrical parts now days.

    Undercoating for new pans.

Prime and paint first. Then undercoating. Which brand? I don't have a recommendation. Others here will. A "coating on top" - do you mean under the carpet? There are all kinds of sound deadeners and insulation - from original jute type materials to adhesive based sheets, to spray on...

    Timing chain slipped a tooth?

Diagnosis: catastrophic interference between reluctor wheel and pickup. Can I just replace the wheel and pickup or do I mistrust this entire distributor as “chinesium” and replace it out right?

    Undercoating for new pans.

I installed new floor and trunk pans. What kind of undercoating would you recommend, keeping in mind that I don't have a lift? Should I also put a coating on the top of the pans? Thanks!

    Connector identification

I Know this is a c-body forum, but i happen to be working on my 1969 satellite, and found a connector i cannot identify. The single connector, i believe goes to the light above the ignition key, but the weird 3-prong one has me stumped. Maybe a non-existant buzzer or something?

Hi, Matt. Thanks for posting this interesting fender tag. It is from an interesting 6-window 4-door sedan which was available as a Newport or New Yorker. The tag is from a 1965 Newport and a decode report is attached. I had to do a little research to complete it an that is appreciated. There...

Will dual knob radio fit in the hole?

Interesting detail. Fortunatelty this is not the case in Chrysler 1974- radios. Only usability may suffer on some models if knob placement is different, but the fitment is still guaranteed.

    Hubcaps restoration

Depends on the vinyl. Good 3M or equivalent will last. Look at all the wrapped commercial vans out there. I used matt black 3M vinyl on my '70 300 rocker trim instead of painting and that was 10 years ago, and it still looks great.

    DECODE help

Thank you for posting and the query. My little decoder is under development and testing and did pretty good until it got to the 6 under the X. I see on other Imperial data plates-6's, 7's & 8's under the X. 7's & '8's define two or four seat belts in other '65 MoPars, but I am stumped by the...
