    NOT MINE 1971 Imperial 2-door.

The paint on this one seems to have some decent shine left. Who knows what it looks like up close, but from what I see, the car doesn't require to be 'restored'. Not for my palate, anyway. The bumpers, grille, trim and all lenses all look very presentable, and doesn't seem to be any bubbling...

    NOT MINE 1971 Imperial 2-door.

The seats and doorpanels look really good. All things considered, I'd rather deal with that down-low sheetmetal rust than try to get the interior repaired. If circumstances were different, I do believe I'd be tempted to make that a Fury Fan car.

After you get more of them, with no explanation of what they might be disagreeing with, you'll realize it's someone saying your opinion is wrong.

CATL 2024: C-bodies At The Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 ("hub-and-spoke" to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, IN)

Here's a parking lot view, there are 3 museums there. It's possible that we might find parking in short supply if there are a lot of other citizens at these museums? Looks like 4 parking lots, although it's hard to know if the outlying ones are available to the public/museum overflow. 219...

CATL 2024: C-bodies At The Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 ("hub-and-spoke" to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, IN)

I think the answer to the first part lies with folks along your route. Coordinate amongst yourselves what works best? Maybe it makes sense to join the caravan along the way, closer to home, rather than backtracking to a meet point? Although it might be difficult to know who the folks on your...

NOT MINE 1971 Chrysler 300 2dr on eBay (rust bucket)

FWIW, Wilwood makes a bunch of different pedal setups, floor-mount and swing-mount. If you ever want to revisit it, maybe there's something that will fit better? Wilwood Disc Brakes - Pedals & Accessories

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible (EW1 white)

Yeah, the headrest might be from a later car. It amazes me, the decent stitch-job on the seats, yet the armrests are so piss-poor. Maybe they weren't part of the job.

    Parts question

Brewers has the Brewers has the Z-bars, so probably not worth you pursuing that part. Frame brackets should probably be re-designed so that it can install easily and not like the original, which was welded on top of the framerail, probably before the subframe was married to the body tub...

NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible (EW1 white)

Since @ayilar rebirthed this one, I looked at it all again. I'm thinking those are Mopar seats, although I can't pinpoint them. The back cover and slight peek of a piece of chrome are clues. Perhaps seats that look like the brown ones - the green Cordoba seats show the rear appearance. But the...

NOT MINE 1972 Dodge Monaco Three-Row Station Wagon - $28,500 - Sidney, British Columbia, Canada

It shouldn't bother me, as it will not affect me, but I hate to see a wagon with rear-dump tailpipes. Appears the current owner did that.

NOT MINE A couple of M-bodies with potential

From a police book I have, don't know how accurate it is, but it seems well-researched and shows references. 1981 seems the first year for M-body copcars as A38s. Prior years for police duty had A-bodies available, and then the F-bodies - which ended in 1980. Were there M-body copcars in 1979...

NOT MINE A couple of M-bodies with potential

One of the best-riding/driving cars I've had was an '88 AHB. The seat was tremendously comfortable. I added 11.75" B-body discs and it stopped really well. It just needed about 75 more hp, 175 wasn't enough. I drooled over that one on FB and quickly determined it was you selling it...

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe in Ann Arbor, MI (GB2, 360, 75k miles, $8k ask)

Looks like a decent car but some things that will require some $$ to take to the next level. Seems the front seat is torn, looks like light blue tap on both seating locations? Dashpad is cracked (obviously, but that's $1000+ to replace). Rear quarterpanel looks like it's been patched with flat...

    NOT MINE '65 300 2-door $1,950

It's rarely seen that someone swaps an engine like this and actually reinstalls the AC parts. I wonder how they mated that cast-crank externally-balanced engine to the 19-spline torque converter. There's a B&M special flexplate to do that. Or knock the 400's TC weights off and weld to the 65's...

NOT MINE 65 300 Convertible 4 speed (North Judson IN) $6000

Closing the loop - I saw on FB that this car is now being parted out. I did not see any of hte 4-speed parts listed, but they may have already been sold by the time I saw the ad.

    Parts question

No internet, no cellphone and wants local pickup - that's 2 strikes and #3 as a foul ball. You might need to broker/ship these parts for him? The pedals would be a reasonable price at $300 or so. Worth more if the other clutch rods and stuff are available. ~20ish years ago I bought and sold...

WANTED ***Need a console for 4 speed***

Also - We have an informal registry, please 'sign up'? FCBO Four Speed Owners Registry And we have a 'sightings' registry, feel free to put it in there too. The registry thread was intended for FCBO members, and original 4spd cars, but I think it strayed from that. The 'sightings' thread is...
