I say you have every right to be upset if they said the package was sealed. If the seller will not address your concerns, file a dispute and eBay will be on your side, they are always on the buyer’s side now days.

I say run it and run it hard for another 1000 miles and check it again, or not if it is running the way you want don't worry about it. Can I ask why what led you to doing the leak down test?
