For Sale OEM 1971 And Up SB Auto Trans Kickdown Lever

This is a OEM 1971 And Up SB Auto Trans Kickdown Lever. This came off of a 1972 340, but I believe it was used on many small blocks in the 1970's. It may also have been used on some big blocks. $10.00. Local pickup, or buyer pays shipping.

Engine swap should I go 360 or 383

My $.02: stay with the small block so you don't have to swap the trans. Swap the stater support in the trans to use a newer torque converter, a 360 TC won't install in a '66 trans. Get the different driver's side motor mount isolatior (340s and 360s use a different one) swap exhaust manifolds...

    Pretty cool 70 Fury lll

The pedals made it a great score. Interesting that the frame structure under the rear seat looks ideal for sheetmetal replacement. Until you see the package tray, that is. Yes, a great parts car, I don't think we'll ever get to the stage where we'd regret not saving a 318-powered 4-door.

    NOT MINE Cop car:

Like the stitched-vinyl dashpad? Car of this caliber should have a correct pad to align with the rest of the money spent.

    66 Chrysler 300 440 TNT first restauration

This is possibly the best info so far. (the safety-related repair suggestions are good, of course) But the advise to not completely tear into an 'intact' car from the get-go is wisdom of the ages. So many well-intentioned restorations get stalled and sold for a pittance (or end up scrapped)...

    NOT MINE Cop car:

The M code is for a standard duty 400 2 bbl, not the HP P code 400 you would expect. It could be a detective car or personal car for an official but almost certainly not a patrol vehicle. Would be interesting to see the rest of the build or fender tag, if it actually had the A38 package at all

    No lights.

I would start with the light switch. That should always have power to it.

    NOT MINE 1970 Chrysler 300 440pc CA$12,500

The air filter has circular perforations to its guarding. Can you even get an air filter like that anymore? Meaning - did they rebuild the engine and put the old filter on it?
