Turn signal cluster bulbs. How to replace

Can you pop them out from the back like a GM car? Or does the bezel and everything have to come out and replace them from the front ? One of my turn signal ones is broken

    Led flasher not flashing

My flasher was behaving erratically when I turned on the signals: half the time it wouldn't flash, sometimes very slowly, sometimes worked fine. So I figured I'd buy an LED flasher so that I wouldn't have to worry about that stuff. I bought a CEC industries one. I tried it, no flashy at all...

    AC still leaking, sad.

Good news: I added that ester oil, and r152 (air in a can) works like a charm! Would definitely recommend! Bad news: still a leak somewhere :( the system is completely empty after less than 24 hours. I notice the gooey stuff covering the AC expansion valve glows green all over (green from...

I replaced the radio, only the left side works I think

I had the 4 channel radio with the two knobs on the left, swapped it out for a 2 channel radio with the knobs on both sides. The harness had the same wires, but only the left side of the speakers work. Is there something I need to do to get all 4 to work ? I know the difference between 2 ch...

i own and scanned 1978 shop manuals for you all. Radio service guide as well

There are two versions. the ones that say OCR should be scannable (using ctrl F) to find words. I perfomed OCR on them. but be careful with some of the words it recognized: it may have made a mistake!! The host is mine, i pay for it, and it's very slow. I apologize for that, be patient! So I...

Got the wiper motor out. What's else am i missing ?

I got the wiper motor out. I assume this is what a real 1978 wiper motor looks like (it's not a different year motor in my 78), and I assume that spring wrapped around the motor shaft is the spring that goes inside a replacement bushing. Am I missing washers or something? Or a bolt or anything...

    Radio removal fail

Okay so I finally had time to take a look how to remove the radio, and it has some weird Chrysler removal bits. Lame. The removal procedure is as follows: 4 or 5 black screws along the bottom, you will have to be in your back for these. I recommend removing the 4 screws to remove the column...

    My 78 New Yorker

It's been raining so much, finally got a break to take some photos. I just got this a few weeks ago! 400 with a quadrajet, it's pretty base model to be honest, the only real options (aside from standard) are the cornering lights and the telescoping steering wheel I think. Runs so smooth though...

My car died, oil light came on, saw smoke, then it fired back up like normal

Pretty much what the title says. I was driving down the road. The car runs perfectly fine. Very smooth, then out of nowhere the engine just died, my oil light came on and smoke was coming out the passenger side!! I grabbed my extinguisher and opened the hood as fast as I could!...I looked around...

1978 New Yorker, so many questions, just 1 for now

I just bought a 1978 Chrysler New Yorker 400ci, LOVE the car, but after driving around a while, the car warms up, then it struggles to start. Cranks great. After about 5 seconds of cranking it finally starts. It's got lean burn delete conversion from the factory. Is this gonna be something...
