Fresh rebuild that has been run so cam is broken in and it’s ready to install. .030 over six pack forged pistons, stock rods and crank. Fresh 452 casting heads with minor porting and clean up, guid liners, positive seals, new valves, etc. Internally balanced, Comp Cams valvetrain parts, aluminum dual plane intake. Dressed as a ‘69 with water pump housing and valve covers.

Will not accept a 4 speed as crank is not drilled for it.

Can supply video of it running and other pictures of assembly.

It’s a mild build: 9.5:1, 260H-10 hydraulic cam (212@.050, 260* duration, .440 lift, single pattern) with matching springs. Was built to run power brakes and have great torque.

Asking $7000 or make an offer. Cash only. Pickup only. Will not ship. No warranty expressed or implied. References available.

FYI fellow readers -- this 78 block has the 2 threaded bosses required for installing in a '65 C-body.

Thanks for pointing that out-
I think the oil pan has to be changed as this has a “402” pan that does not have the idler arm pocket. But with an oil pan change this will drop into the early cars that use the “wrap around” mount bracket. I think I have the correct pan for that too.
