So who can tell me what is going on with these two sellers.

Same product? The same picture is used for both. They are located in cities that are 7 miles from each other.
One says 62-66 and the other says 64-66 ?
Something just sounds fishy, $145 difference in price.

1964-1966 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL DUAL EXHAUST, ALL MODELS, ALUMINIZED W/RESONATORS | eBay

1962-1966 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL DUAL EXHAUST, HARDTOPS, ALUMINIZED W/ RESONATORS | eBay

I don't understand what the problem is. Two vendors and two prices. What's wrong with that? Maybe I'm missing something here. . .

don’t trust pictures. If there’s a “check if this fits” button click it.
if it fits all models it sounds like you’re going to have to cut it somewhere if your car is not a 4door.
what does ‘aluminized’ mean? If you have to weld anything do you want to work with aluminum?

Just my thoughts…

Aluminized is common in exhaust pipe nothing special, supposed to keep if from rusting as easy. It welds like normal pipe.

I do have a 4 door.

What I see is one using the body sheet metal, but I also suspect the other one is using the chassis design, which I suspect should go from '57 - '66 model years, or possibly with some changes in model year 1962.

One probably is the "builder" and the other one is the "re-seller" (who didn't get a really great deal because they were "in the biz"?).

Always best to get as close to the "builder" so that if anything might go flaky, you can talk directly to the people who designed it rather than to a "salesperson" who only knows what is in the catalog.

Just some thoughts,

Yes. Check with Waldron's.

Just to update I bought the cheaper $750 system, but the price went up now.

Over all the fit from manifold to resonator and tail pipe to muffler was good. But the mids from resonator to muffler would not fit at all. I don't know if they bent then wrong or if there spec sheet is wrong. I called them and they were very willing to make new ones and correct the problem. But it is pretty hard to do from 1000 miles away and try yo explain or draw a diagram. So I bought a mandrel bent kit and just make my own mods.

(Sorry to bring this back from the depths)
I'm planning to add duals to my Imperial next spring. This setup looks like what I want, so I have a few questions:

1. Is there any opinion on Waldron Exhaust vs Classic Exhaust? They seem equal on price and the product looks comparable.
2. Has anyone added an "X" or "H" pipe where the pipes are close, under the driveshaft support? What was the result?
3. I've heard some people say I'll need to tune my carb after installing duals, or the car will run too lean. Is this true?

Motor is completely stock, car currently has a single, patchwork exhaust, and factory exhaust manifolds.

My personal opinion is that and X or H will make 0 difference on a stock engine like this.
As far as carb tuning, no it will not make any difference. Now if you are trying to squeeze every extra 1/10 of an HP out of a high performace engine on an engine dyno yea you might be able to get a little extra out of it by tunning the carb, but for a stock daily driver no need.
