1966 Fury 1 Wagon front end disc brake conversion

stock 70-73 c body...you need caliper, spindle and rotor...you re use the drum brake lower ball joint...73 brake hose is a little longer and works better...the bracket on the chassis needs to be repositioned a bit and the metal line bent....lots of threads on the brake and suspension forum about this and lots of info on the various aftermarket setups...

Not as easy as spreading peanut butter and jelly on bread….

NO good “ kits “ for “ C “ bodies without necessary modifications as pointed out ^^^ above ^^^ ….

You had better check your laws in Australia about serious modifications , because you may run into a problem with your country’s inspection process —- making your car a “ sitting “ and not driving 20 ‘ “ carcass “……

I recently installed a wilwood kit with wilwood mopar 4 bolt tandem master cylinder/valve combo and rear brake residual pressure valve. Worked out really well for the 67 Chrysler Newport I was working on.

I still think factory discs are superior. But this stuff works better than drums and slaps right on the car. No rebuilding old parts .
