He’s making up numbers anyway. It doesn’t matter....

You can’t twist numbers and guess at percentages no matter how good they sound in the end.

You can believe what you wish - and whether my initial math in my first response was flawed, I am only repeating what I was told by others whose knowlege I respect and have no reason to disbelieve.

I also made the claim (or disclaimer if you will), that I have no way of verifying that numbers I quoted (quoted from respected sources, not made up), are in any way accurate.

So if in your opinion that equates to me making things up, it's your right to have that opinion.

All I really know is that after all is said and done, I own a car that is extremely rare, and another example like it has not surfaced anywhere.

Well now that the secret is out on the car, my buddy and I are happy to see it going to a person who will get it back on the road banging gears again. I pressured him to buy it sight unseen and promised I would help in finding a good home for it to make sure it was saved. I feel its going to the perfect home.

As for numbers of on the car, its a guess really as none of the records survived. However it is a rare car in US spec trim, and even more rare as a Canadian car. This is the first Canadian one I've seen in person, and one of a handful I've seen in pictures over the years. There was a 66 Monaco 500 440 four speed on Vancouver island that sat in a body shop for years. I tried to get the car a few years back, but it disappeared off the face of the earth. Still trying to track it down with no luck.

What is a 64 engine code? 62 was 383-4, 81 and 82 were the two 440s in 66.
