Every time I go back and read over this thread, it infuences me more and more to find my own slabside...how about some new pics :D
Soon, as soon as the car is moving on its own. Read the next post.

So I have fuel, amazing what a simple hose will do.

The heat was kicking my ***, so I went home to take a break and let the pooch out for a bit. Gonna head back out there in about 45 minutes and see if I can't start this thing.

This is exciting! A couple days ago I contacted a fella in WI about a Polara very similar to yours but it sold quickly.

Tell me more... Last thing I need is to be like @DocMcNeedy and learn the whereabouts of all the 66 Polaras and Monacos, I'd be screwed. They do seem to be popping up more and more.

Wait, the black one in Tomah? 440 in the car? I tried contacting the seller on FB, but got no response.

This one?

Yes Sir that's exactly the one I'm talking about. I contacted him and was told that a sale was pending...was hoping to swing by as my route took me past there

Well Paul, @BLIMP, here's a couple I snapped before work. I tried pushing the car around the mud, and got stuck, back right tire in a dip. Swapped the wheels on the driver's side so now they all match again.

Heat was too much, I'm going out again in the morning and will start it then. Heat index at or above 100 all over here, maybe some rain will come through and cool it off a little.

See if you can get the buyers info, or pass along your info, just in case. That's how I got the gray car, and look what that's started. Just a thought.

Congrats
Now you just have to prove it :poke:

Pictures of it outside in the 100 degree heat required.:D

My phone was at 4% when I turned the key to start. No power in the Kwanzaa, outlet went bad, otherwise I was going to film it. Then the radiator boiled over when I adjusted the throttle cable, ending my time.

Congrats! It's a ton of fun to witness an engine fire after a repair...good job Scott!

What did you find on the starter? Or did you just jump the starter to get it running?

The starter is an issue on the gray car. The 500, black car, has no starting issues.

Yep, the 26" radiator they shoved in here is crap. Thank you for sacrificing yourself for the sake of the car, it started up and runs fine, thanks to your ever loving service, you humble radiator that you were.

Time to test the 22nd" unit I bought, and install.

This is a **** shot of victory, or at least a little tiny one.

Timing and initial calibrations are done. But it needs a thermostat, the one I got won't open, anymore.
