1967 Chrysler Newport Custom aka "Blonde Ambition"

So, I have a 1970 383/727 out of an Arizona police pursuit car with 34k miles which will go in our 67 Newport Custom. In that regard I wonder if there are any aftermarket oil pans that will fit our car since the shape is different from what's on it now.

Yes I can use the one on our current engine, but that one will be gone thru and put aside in stock condition so a new pan would be preferable.

Any input on where to buy one?

If that engine is what it is supposed to be, it should have the better tri-metal bearings, windage tray, and moly-channel compression rings. Possibly a double-roller timing chain? Hopefully, it will just need a freshening!

Great find,

Yes it only needs a freshening he told me. But as mentioned the oil pan is different and I would like to get a new one that fits our car so I won't have to use the old one.

The holidays are over and it's time to get the parts ready to ship over from the US to Norway, the container is planned to depart Florida in february. The parts are still in my buddy's shop in Michigan tho.

I found a 383/727 combo out of a 70 Fury (I think) police cruiser with only 30k something miles which will go in the Newport this spring and will probably be a nice setup for our use, for now.

I consider buying a 3.23 rear end unit with sure grip as well if anyone has or knows of one.

What I am yet to buy tho and need to find is a new carpet and new door seals since the ones on the car now (fairly new actually) have been put on somewhat off (too much to the rear) so the upper ends (towards the vent windows) have ripped holes and won't stay in place anymore.

So, where do you recommend us getting a new carpet and door seals from?

Happy new year to you all!

Does anyone know if aftermarket seats like these from Procar will fit on the original seat tracks..?

Would like to get something like this until we redo the interior but would prefer not to drill any extra holes in the floors.
