I wonder if anyone ordered a Newport Sportsgrain with Wood Delete...

I could imagine a sick puppy deleting the Wood and painting the inner section of the trim outline a contrasing Color.

Just a guess but maybe it needs to be vertical. Mine is certainly not the only one I've seen mounted in this location.

yellow, no a/c, column shift, 383 newport. that's the bones of it. first glance looks cool, but two minutes thinking about it and asking price adds like this: 7000 for the car, 11500 for the goofy wood stickers. pass.

I believe it is priced for the global market...

Maybe they thought it had something to do with the amount heat generated under the hood of the Imperials, so they mounted them where air could flow behind them and keep them cool. Most Imperials had hood insulation, and they do get very hot under there.

It is a rare car, but it looks too strange for my taste - I would rather have a comparable 300.
I agree, for that money should be able to get something pretty nice, and have better resale if needed later on.

Those 66-67 wheelcovers are 14", so I think whatever tires those are would be a little too small for a Fusey. They look tall enough, but I just don't think they're enough tire for a heavier Fusey.

Car would look so much more striking if it was a dark color. I bet we'd all feel differently about it if it was black, with buckets, console, 383hp and road wheels. And AC for some folks.:p
