Ben on c-list for a mo. Any takers?

We've talked at length about this members car, yes?

Love this car... but it's not really "for sale"..

Just looking at the gills make me happy, and as far as I remember, this year even has sequential turn signals.. (although only a two step)

Yep. He's selling it, and wants the buyer to assemble. He wants it to stay local so he can buy back. Your essentially giving him a loan like a pawn shop with an open ended re purchase date..... It's not really for sale but he may sell to the right caretaker under his terms. Your adopting the car.

. I'll sell it but I get first dibs if you want out of it.

And I still have no idea what that means.

I'll bet that to whom ever he sells it to he will have his name signed on the title as lien holder along with a document stating he can buy the car back at a given price with first refusal, so if you want to ever sell the car in the future you can not sell it without the release of his name as lien holder off of the title. He probably is a lawyer or is good friends with one who will draft up such a document. I know if that was the case I would tell him to keep the car.

The '69 is actually equipped with 3 step sequential turn signals!

Wow.. Thanks for rectifying that misunderstanding Vodka..!

I saw a video on YT, showing two steps, so I thought that was that (and was actually a bit disappointed with Chrysler, for ONCE ;-)..

PS: I love sequentials, so I bought a 3-step kit for my 69 300, and extra "double bulp sockets" for the two center most sections.. I's gonna have fun with that some day!

Is the Imp some sort of motorized mechanical relay, or?

I remember seeing one from a 65 T-Bird once.. looked awesome, but also made a LOT of noise..!

:)

As he stated in the description of the video, it's broken ;)

As you can see, there is only 2 lights instead of 3 on. i have to fix it.

He also made a video of the 3 lights working correctly. And later in the video he shows the mechanical relay thing!

hi guys, i made thoses vids. :)
I can do other if you want, today. better ones I think.

I was very surprised that the system was quite simple, electro-mecanical like in fords. I think it was replaced by Chrysler. the original PCB card was prone failure. but there is a relay connected to it, it makes a lot of wires.

The baddest thing about sequential turn signals is that you'll never see them working :(
You know you have them but leave all the fun for other drivers...

Hi Xavi3r

Thanks for the comment.. AND the videos..! I have to learn to read the comments on Youtube...! (Thnx Vodka)

When I get mine done, I will be seen a lot more behind the car, ha ha.. in order to enjoy my sequentials!

PS: If you see a 69-71 2-Door for sale in France.. please write me, and I will love you !! :) Merci !

I do not think that there is another Imperial 69 in France yet. I may have the only 1969 4 door imperial here. ( i think there is at least one 2door 69 in switzerland, i saw a picture )
I know other : 70,72, 73.. but not a 69. I know that there was one in the past, but it was parted out ( I bought the front end ) because the car was walled in a house.

I have the only 70 Chrysler 300 Hurst too ( up to my knowledge ) :) There has been another few years ago but it was sold out of France.

Chrysler C bodies are very rare here. Lot of has been parted out for engine and trans. I remember so many station wagon that has been parted out... it is a disaster. I saved many I could, even car without title ( equal, here in France, " useless " ) to bo back on the road someday maybe.
But there was some for sale back in the days, 300 mostly.

Hey guys...I'm the owner. The car is still for sale. There is no funny stuff with the purchaser. If who ever buys it...wants to sell it, years later, I would like first dibs on buying it back. Thats all. I have many projects and wont get to this one anytime soon. I have since sold the engine and trans. I have the really nice black interior for it still. With a nice tilt tele column. It has new tires and a new Quanta gas tank.. 2500 bucks. This car has surface rust but no rot at all. Its super clean underneath. 1 914 497 8110 is my cell. Lets get this done. Johnny.
