That appears to be just above the vinyl roof moulding (note the fastener holes). Moisture was trapped in there for a long time.View attachment 376220 What could have possibly eaten through the fender and trunk like that?
It's where the fiber glas frame from the smaller formal window is sitting.View attachment 376220 What could have possibly eaten through the fender and trunk like that?

Very well. How are you going to attach the replacement piece on the center ‘bridge’ repair to what has been repaired? Epoxy? I don’t think that you could spot weld it to the part that’s already repaired. It's where the fiber glas frame from the smaller formal window is sitting.

You mean the fiberglass inlay? It's screwed in from the factory. But it's not going to end up un the car again because I'm deleting the vinyl roof.Very well. No, that's all how MaMopar did it initially. Fiberglass attached with self tapping screws and no seals at all. That explaines all the rust...Ok
I didn’t know it was fiberglass. I thought that it was a patch that someone had used.

Yah. "mingling with other people". I hadn't thought of having to do that. Good point.A social life usually includes mingling with other people. That can't be as satisfying as the Imperial.
