A time lapse video of the repair would be awesome.Body work by a body magician. Awesome. Just awesome.
Jep, that would be awesome! But I prefer him putting his energy and passion into the metal ;)A time lapse video of the repair would be awesome.
Excellent work! This vehicle will be around long after all of us, and likely after our children! And of it is for Immersion Paint and Rust Removal. After that the Body man will finish the rest of the work and then it will get its CDC (Cathodic dip coating).

Please don't make re-read 900 posts to refresh my memory on how you found these guys and who are they. UNBELIEVABLE workmanship.Absolutely! I'm really happy that the car is at the right place! He is doing magnificent work!
Well FINDING guys like him is the real problem these days. The biggest problem is, that most of these good metal workers seem to be "rich" and only do the work they like. I searched the better part of 2 years for a good metal worker who is willing to do all the work. And now, "thanks to corona" others backed out and he had time for my project. Please don't make re-read 900 posts to refresh my memory on how you found these guys and who are they. AND shame on so many car owners who are not willing to spend the money to do all that work correctly. Let me tell you, work like this ain't cheap, but worth every penny!Dare i say that is probably some of the nicest metal work i have ever seen on any of these car fourmns. Looks like it was just made in 1969. Shame so many don't aspire to do that level of work.
Absolutely. Old cars are not cheap at all. You get what you pay for as they say.AND shame on so many car owners who are not willing to spend the money to do all that work correctly. Let me tell you, work like this ain't cheap, but worth every penny!
I've read somewhere that mixing cast iron and aluminium on an engine is not good, is that true?
I bought an unused 440-source aluminium water pump housing at the BBTR show this weekend but now I'm not sure if I should use it or not.

Probably referring to the water pump.Pardon my ignorance but don't they use aluminum heads on iron blocks?
