1969 Imperial progress thread

I will always do my best to steer you guys in the right direction!

Well ****, it sounds like I should be getting a kickback from the publisher!

The car is now being processed and export has been declared. The car is already divided for loading.

Here are some Pictures the shipping company warehouse made for me. The Color looks damn good. Very nice color combination :) She will be a real beauty, someday...

You definitley have some work cut out for you with "Jacqueline", but it will be well worth the effort that is for sure.

Probably. And just as complicated. But I will do it step by step with no hurry... Someday, it will be done. First goal is get it running.

I'm definitely excited to watch the transformation. Jacqueline? How did you choose that name?

Yep, complicated is right. My 70' Imperial had all sorts of pwr this and vacuum operated that, rear HVAC system, twilight sentinel, cig lighters in every door, and more creature comfort stuff that I've probably forgotten.

First name that comes to my mind when I saw the car. I don't know why, but I like it.

Unfortunately my car doesn't have rear HVAC system or twilight sentinel. But twilight sentinel is something I maybe add sometimes, because I like this nice feature!

I can only imagine your anticipation knowing that it's moving along and will soon be loaded up and on it's way to you. I hope she has a safe trip and all goes well. When is your tentative arrival date ? :th_krazy:

No tentative arrival date until now but they told me it has accumulated quite some work because of the bad weather.

So I'm afraid it will take a while. I'll let you know if I have more information!

If it were my car coming to me I'd be going crazy by now with anticipation....a 69' Imp coup. Don't see many of those outside car shows, and even there they are rare animals. There was a nice 70' coup at Carlisle last year tho.

Believe me, I'm bursting with anticipation! But after 18 month searching and another 2 month since I bought it, I can wait a little longer now ;)
