969 Plymouth Satellite, unrestored with original paint. Original Mod Top car
Based on the sample I got from Legendary, that is very close to the original. Some fading, but not a whole lot. That's a pretty and clean car. Someone tell me, has the top faded any or is that pretty much how it looked new?
Like I said...The owner has had it at the Nationals in Columbus, she hands out mod top candy! She loves her car.
Got a dark green Barracuda with the yellow top and seats with Baby Moon reverse chrome rims near me, always loved it. There's another yellow one within an hour or so also. I grew up on the tail end of the Paisley era, so I've always liked it a little.I hated that Mod stuff back then.
Still do, despite it now has more fans than it did when new.
That's who they marketed it to. The younger guys like you. They got their dollars worth, I didn't know about Mod Tops til @2000! Then came Gator grain, and Paisley tops, learning-wise. I found out all kinds of goofy things Chrysler put out the door. That's who they marketed it to. The younger guys like you. Capture you young, keep you for life.
See? It worked.
yeah, pretty amazing product line and marketing I think. Makes me not even care "too much" about learning what "the other two competitors" were offering back in the day.......They got their dollars worth, I didn't know about Mod Tops til @2000! I'm talking todlers. They'll never own a car.Out here in Farmville, every kid gets a car as soon as humanly possible it seems.
