Look at those options......pw tilt/tele,pdl, all the right ones when you throw it together exc maybe the TNT. I see some wear, will have to look @ the car before I can make a decision on whether or not I think it is worth what he wants.

It looks great to me! A lot of options on this one.

Haven't seen pictures of the trunk. Since it 's basically a new car......what;s in the trunk????:eek:s_dancing2::eek:s_dancing2:

no idea, he didn't take any. He did tell me he found what was left of the build sheet under the carpet, it was toast.

I see this dragging on forever.....

Not for me......prob a dead issue now. I can't get up there this weekend, next sunday is out and so is the 3rd weekend in Nov.

And no, i did not ask for mileage......thanks for the reminder Stan...will do so now

Good point Stan I didnt think of that.

You've tipped your hand Mark, if you can afford to look at this one you can afford a trip to Wisconsin

who said I could afford it? trying to get the $$ together and getting it together are 2 diff things. And the wisc car does not wow me like this one, it is non-original, was totalled, no console, etc, so I am not as motivated. Who knows what cond it is really in right now.

I do.... That car was built right. You dont win multiple national events and make magazine covers by being a so-so put together car

well he tore into it and took the console out, which means the carpet had to be repl as well, so who knows what else has been changed. i've yet to see the tag on it to see what equip it has, etc.

My whole attitude in this search is going into the toilet, every freaking car has some sort of issue.

It's not 1971, these cars are over 40 years old and werent built to last this long. If they haven't had something replaced or messed with, wether recently or sometime in the distant past they just don't exist. My .02

I've seen first hand cars that have made the cover or had an article on them in MCG.
The work on them showed amateurish touches and shortcuts. Local collision shop work at best.
They made it to the cover because the owner was a celebrity.

You are correct Stan but that is MCG and this was done by a professional. You dont draw a crowd by having a POS. I.'ll post pics later.

The options on that car were nice and had a lot added

no , i need an explanation why the owner took the console out of the car and converted it back to a column shift. makes it a lot less desireable.

Looks like I'm still spinning my wheels, no pun intended. Time for another break from this stuff. Anyone sees something I might like, you can shoot me a pm if you feel like it.
