Been sitting for at least 15 years. Bought to restore because of it's rarity but have had no time to follow through. Needs complete restoration and is not driveable. Has "N" code 383 HiPo motor with correct carb and manifolds. Most all power options. For contact info, reply with "Cordoba" in the subject line. Thanks!

According to fuselage.de (in english) there were only 1868 2-dr and 1873 4-dr 1970 Cordoba's built, but whether there'd be any financial upside in restoring this, as compared to enjoyment of driving it I don't know. Meaning it may not increase in value, but for rarity you'd have it made.
 
IMHO the most important part of this model is the Aztec pattern on the roof and seats, which seem to have been recovered at some point.

Too bad the B-J crowd that has more millions than brains don't realize that restoring a rare Fusie like this would be a drop in the bucket and then they would have a classy classic C-body that very few if any others would have....

Bob: I hear what yer saying, but I am happy the B-J crowd hasn't yet noticed the C-Bodies.

He and I think his brother have a mostly Mopar wrecking yard in Colorado. I have bought parts from him off of E-bay a few times. They also sell some pretty nice project cars at reasonable prices. All my dealings with them have been good.
 
I believe we have no need to see the fender tag because I do not think the "HP" was available in that model.
A 4 bbl does not make it an "HP"

Again, a 4-barrel 383 in '70 was an HP motor. The only other non-hp 383 was a 2-barrel with standard manifolds. I took me a bit of research to figure all of that out years ago. My buddy had a Challenger with a 383-4 barrel (A/C/) car and he painted the engine orange.

In 1970, there were two 383 4 bbl engines avaiable.
The first was a 330 hp version and the second was a 335 hp. version.
I recall that the 383/335 was the HP 383 engine.
The 383 HP with 335 hp. was only available in the B and E bodies.
I stand by my statement that there is a 383/330 hp. in that Newport, not the HP 383/335 hp. engine.

I would love to carry on further with this with you and anybody else and as soon as I am shown Mopar documentation saying I am wrong, I will humbly do just that loud and clear with no embarrassment because I am still learning about Mopars after 50 years at the age of 66 ☺
 
:eek:ccasion14:It is true There were two 383 four barrel engines in 1970. The fifth digit in a 1970 383 two barrel C body was L for two Barrel, and L for 330 Four Barrel as well.(330HP) the N code(335HP) was available in the 70 Plymouth Fury GT, so if the Chrysler had an N in the Vin,it may have been also available in the Chrysler, which was the HP 335 engine. The fender tag will have an additional code for which 383 was in the car. This is for C body cars only, as The Challenger engine code does not have a four barrel L code option, only L for 290 Horse, and N for 335HP. In 71' Chrysler deleted the Second use of L for four barrel, and used N for all four Barrel 383's.

I source the Dodge and Plymouth Red Book(Peter Sessler) second addition(2001) for this type of information,,,For some reason the 70" Hurst Chrysler Info should be in the book, but Isn't.
 
Yep, I had a 335 horse H code 383 in my 69 Bee.

:sFl_america2:I have owned Chrysler 330HP 383 Four Barrel cars, and they run every bit as good as the 335HP in that big car. Both had the same compression, carb, heads, and exhaust.(with minor jetting changes and milder cam) And in my view both are the same in value. This topic is an Issue with the 68-69 B body cars as well. Only the Roadrunner and Superbee had the 335HP engine, with the code H. The Sport Satellites and Chargers had the 330HP engine, but the Titles still had the H code as the fifth digit. I read somewhere that In 69' The A/C equipped Superbee and Roadrunners got the 330HP as well.
In 1975 I owned a 68' Town and country wagon with the 383 330HP. and that car was awesome, pulling a load or empty. I was a fool to sell it.
