1970 FURY l PK21GOD....POLICE SQUAD FIRE VEHICLE
WHATS IT WORTH? Getting ready to put this car on feebay unless somebody here may want it first. Not sure where to price/reserve it, maybe you peeps could help me figure out what this PK21GOD Is worth in parts alone, then i could go from there. Body is shot with a rail gone and spring thru the trunk floor, but on the counter side, its a very unique and rare ride from what i gather with cool options such as...PK21GOD 1dr sedan w 318 police patrol package, scorch red w white top tan interior, all 5,spare included, dates allll match 15x6.5 H wheels, lt side 5in patrol light, roof reinforcement bar with non drilled light support, rubber floor in great shape, 65 amp alternator with LEECE-NEVILLE VOLTAGE/AMP REGULATOR, 140 CERTIFIED SPEEDO WITH CERTIFICATION ENVELOPE STILL IN THE GLOVE BOX, HEAVY DUTY SEAT SPRINGS...its just a cool car, but would need a magic wand to fix the rust. Interiors toast, dash too, wrong radiator, right outside mirror and radio gone.... I could go on and on about this retired Detroit firechief vehicle..... What do you guys think shes worth in parts alone? Just curious? IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR INTEREST, YOU CAN CALL OR TEXT ME @586/557/8190, id be glad to answer any questions!! Thankyou.

Ouch! Looks like a nice parts car to me. Like anything, it's worth what you and a buyer agree to. Set a price and see where things go.

it is a cool car but no one will restore a 318 car in that condition.

Maybe only if it was a E-body vert

The value of the parts sold separatly is not the value of the car. It is a lot of work to disassemble it and it akes time to sell all the parts off.

My estimate: 1.000-1.200$

Yea its a tough one, thats why i thought id just leave it to *bay to decide. Seems like 2doors are very scarce in this market, but the 318 wont help its bottom line, thats for sure!!

Wow that is a pretty neat car...too bad it is so rough. I am not sure what that would be worth in parts...if those were 1969 H-wheels the matched set would bring good money.

Tough call on that one.
Imagine Pro Street that one..
Back halved,tubbed...440 power train, paint it red gold flake in the paint and flames on it to hail to the Chief. Leave the spot light on it .

If you can't get a decent price consider parting it. Don't feel the 318 makes it totally worthless, none of us can out run it.

I agree ........ A Fury lover may be so inclined to save it regardless of cost

Id hate to tear it up and part it, especially when its all there minus a few items. The colors, the purpose, the history.....somebody out there has a donor body that could clip the rear end, for sure. Some are against, but id rebody this thing in a heartbeat. I know i know....some are against, but for me, id rather have a few tags changed rather then every weld on the car, where its integrity holds.
Trust me, id much rather buy a solid donor, (check the wanted ads, i have one posted!) Then sell this car as it is!

Try and sell it whole first by really pitching the cop angle.
That may have been someone's squad car once.
Give it a chance and then part it out.

Id like to agree with you commando, but id have a hard time parting it out. Id rather sell whole and make alittle less for somebody to give it what it deserves. And the story goes like this.....was a Detroit firechiefs car til 1973, then a lady who worked for the city bought it andhung onto it for many years, rarely driving it. Then, in exchange for some home upgrades, it was payment to the person who i purchased it from who really had no interest in the car whatsoever. Thats what i know!

That happens more often than you'd think. I hear stories on the job of guys getting a car in exchange for repair / building services

Yea, theres a guy who has his own hi-lo repair service, i think he barters more then he actually takes payment! He has quite a few cool cars and motorcycles, motors....just a ton of stuff that heprobably inquires about when he stops in a old factory or whatever, sounds like a good gig to me forsure!
