Long and Short: car has been off the road for 45 years. It now has brakes.

I knew I had seen numerous pics with shields indented toward the rotor.
And that is a more sensible design, for what is shown above would act as a funnel toward small pebbles. The 'tight' version would prevent that but still allow water to sling off.

The 70 Chry-Imp service manual shows what you guys have.
But I take that with a grain of salt as they use 'representative' pictures from years before, such as 66-older wheels that take the larger-size dogdish hubcaps.
So not fully trustworthy.

My 65 SF that I converted to discs in the early 1990s have shields you guys have. It was converted with 71 Polara/Monaco parts I pulled at a JY.
My 68 Fury that I converted to discs in the early 2000s, with 73 spindles, and it has shields with a tight gap on the rotor. I don't remember where I got these parts, though.
All the spare shields I have are what is shown on the below pic from my 68 Fury.
I now wonder if they are from truck/van, as I have a buddy that had a lot of that stuff and would give parts to me sometimes.

The ebay pic shows that style, but 70-72 would be for a 10.75" rotor.
It's possible I have 75-77 B-body, or R-body shields, as those have the same rotor dia as a C-body. Or maybe 74-78 C-body.

I don't know what's what on this.
Continue on without me!
