1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Brogham & U code Super Comando

I think those holes are too high for the brake and hood release. Those bolt underneath and you can see one of the screws sticking out. I think they were for an accessory gauge.

It's a before pic, so I'll bet he filled them.

I believe he means these two holes part of the way up the panel.

one of the unobtainium parts Dan Corley saw fit to let me have...needed the rubber protector...the one on my bumper was in rough shape and warped..thanx Dan

Okay I have to ask...Is there a blue 73 New Yorker hovering over the Fury that he took a pic from...That pic confuses me!

completely lost me there...ah k click....is one of his props on the wall...will try to find a pic...ah already been provided...

holes...they are for the brake or hood latch

This has me scratching my head.

The pic from Stan shows the emergency brake. That looks right. The SFGT pic shows a hood release too.

Is that the right location for a hood release?

Of course, somebody with their Fury could crawl down there and show us what's what... :poke:

Actuality, those holes shouldn't be there. At one point in the car's ownership, someone drilled those holes to mount something.

The hood release screws to the bottom on the frame, it does not screw to the face. Also the brake release doesn't bolt to the dash frame at all. Those two holes are covered by the plastic cover that also covers the steering column.
