I'm going to take my Newport to the track....after Carlisle. LOL!
So you are going to somehow just drop the body down on the stub frame/rear springs? How will you do that. Looks like a small version of the Jefferson Plant process! Interesting to see all this.
After all this time. I am so disappointedno...hes just entertaining you folks with a couple posed shots...
will have to check Bills build to see if he putsKstub frame on first or puts the rear end on first but definilty no drop down
He used a big A-frame crane to lift the body and remove the front half of the rotisserie. Then he attached the front clip. Then adjusted the height of the rear half of the rotisserie to clear the rear and then attached the front spring mounts. Finally he removes the last of the rotisserie to set the body on the rear end and bolted on the rear spring mounts. Considering he works by himself the process probably sounds a lot easier than it actually is. Pictures.
Nice, a "frame off" restoration! Question, are all the rebuilt parts powder coated or does he paint them? How were the exhaust manifolds treated?
I want a 255 70 on the rear and a 235 70 on the front of my '65 I think a 255 70 might be the ideal C body tire.. just my 2 cents255's minimum on the rear
255's minimum on the rear
You guys who have cars that dont lock you into WW's don't know how lucky you are.
