1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Brogham & U code Super Comando

I see Paul has been busy! Damn fine work!

What you need is a portable hazmat shower tent complete with a supply of cotton jump suits and a case or two of white cotton gloves.

Hey Dereck, can I get a big favor from you? I was looking at my spring packs and realized I have 7 leafs per side. Normally the passenger side has one or two leafs more. I have factory numbers on both sides but I am still unsure if mine is correct. Could you ask Paul to count the leafs and see if they are the same number each side?

My `70 still has the factory HD semi-eliptical springs. Paul tested them and found no sag so we reused them. Anyhow they are 6 leaf each side.

The disc brake conversion is TSM

No, it was a 350 engine. My 383-2 with the tow package got the six leaf springs. My 383-4 had 5 leaf springs.....I upgraded to seven on that one.

I am surprised your Fury didn't have 7s but I've seen a lot of variables over the years

It is curious to red of the number of variations, in the video posted by vodka the guy states that even having AC in the car will vary the type of springs in the car. I think since Dereck's car is mechanically virtually identical to mine and also has AC I am interested to hear back as to what his springs have.

7 springs for GTs

Wow, those front fenders look premo! I'd say Paul's welder buddy has done an outstanding job getting that quarter panel on without any apparent warp, etc., a lot harder to do that it looks.
