Sad to think that a Car done to such a High caliper of Restoration Such as yours Mr. Critter, is still missing a Key and unique piece of its original Character.

Gawd forbid Lakeland Lash gets it, gives it one of his rattle can details and a Glamour Photo Shoot.
$60,000.00
I think this was a line in a Clint Eastwood movie, Stan -
You have a way to describe the undescribable.

I think at 20-25k this would be a great car to enjoy as-is. Remind yourself it's a real GT and ignore the flaws. I shudder to think that we're turning into B & E snobs with mandates of perfection.

If you took that gold 71 GT in PA we discussed recently for $2000, it would be hard to get that one to this condition by throwing $20k more at it - and there would be 1-2 years of your life spent in the process too.

So if someone has the $$ and is in the market -- go grab it!

I sent him an email asking if he seen the trim rings for the wheels and he did not. Also no box tip exhaust tips.

l should rephrase that...believe it was standard for 70

Lots of ifs here, but if I was in the market, and had ~20k to spend, and wanted something special, I think I'd buy that if it wasn't a surprise in person.

And the 'repairs' it needs are right up my alley - I'm tired of the junk in my garage (big projects and big dreams/imagination chained around my heart...)
