I talked to this guy it was his father in laws car that passed away. He didn't know anything about it. Undercoated so couldn't tell much underneath. I had him down to 20, now 19500. Anybody near there that can check this one out in person. I'm in Detroit and Seattle is like a million miles from me.

Very nice car!!!

Did anyone here know the owner when he was alive?

You had him to 20? So what happened?

If you really wanted this car, you'd be on an airplane.
Leave before breakfast, home by dinner time.

If you really want it you just buy it.

If a car has the "perfect" fender tag (color, options) and is one of my ultimate favorites: I bought them by just 3-4 pictures because I had to have it.
Whatever problems it has: I will get it fixed for a dream car.

I chatted with him but I bought something else. Seller thinks it has same value as a B or E body and is already discounted way too much. Yes, weed is legal in Washington.

I guess that is what he thought in the beginning.
Original price of 35k$ might have been right if it would have been a nearly perfect resto/top condition car or a great survivor.

But after picture inspection it turned out to be a #3 car with some mods and a sloopy repaint.

Nothing for guys who are deeply into originality or want a perfectly done car.
There was no person who thought that is his ultimate "fender tag".

So after the high price in the beginning (and some interest) all interested parties faded away after knowing/guess its real condition. Now he wants to get rid off it. But the car is somehow "burned" as all old potential buyers are cold turkey to it now.

With a price of 22-25k $ asking in the beginning he probably would have had sold it for 20k$ some time ago.

So if I buy it for $18K repaint it and fix all the small stuff, do you think I would have a $35K car?

sure if you bring it into the condition of Dave Wheelers v-code SFGT: you have a 35k $ car

If someone has the owners phone number, please forward to me.
Thank you.
