WANTED 1972 400 Thermoquad Intake 3614046

Looking some intake manifold cores for an A-body project of mine. 3614046 is the casting number for the 1972 400 4bbl spread bore/ thermoquad intake without EGR that I'm looking for.

Preferably near lower NY / NJ / PA / CT area for pickup unless cheap enough to be worth shipping.

That 72 400 intake is a nice intake for your swap. The early well type choke and no E.G.R. The intake you have pictured in the 73 intake, still no E.G.R. but has the later ugly choke. The 72 400 TQ chokes are available on Ebay. That is the exact intake I would use on a 383-400 in an A body. Every once in awhile one will pop up.

That intake you have pictured would work well with an electric choke TQ.

I hope as it might need to feed 490+ cubes of high compression iron head stroker goodness ;)

You might need something a little more performance oriented then. I was just thinking about fitting under the hood.
