Nice repair on the washer bottle. What did you use for patch material. You a lucky man to have 5 kids and a wife to help you. Do any your kids express a desire enter the auto repair trade Do your kids thinking about a car of there own yet.Thank you David. My wife and all 5 kids have have given valuable assistance at one time or another. Sure makes a difference when everyone is on board.
Last week I worked on a busted up washer bottle and patched it up enough to where the bad spot is not too noticeable. Much better than what I had!View attachment 239559 View attachment 239560 View attachment 239561 View attachment 239562 View attachment 239563 View attachment 239564

Is that Volo? If so, you’re making me want to be there next summer.Just grabbing some pictures from other threads and saving them hereView attachment 194329 View attachment 194331 View attachment 194330 View attachment 194332 View attachment 194334 View attachment 194333 View attachment 194337 View attachment 194336 View attachment 194335 View attachment 194338
I could use a 73 RH Mirror, if between you and Manny you guys stumble upon one. While out junkyarding with Manny last week I was able to find a good seat bracket for the middle seat. For whatever reason this countersunk hole broke through on mine.View attachment 226299 View attachment 226300
Picked up a good plastic cover for the tailgate lever. Also installed the proper stamped GATE/DOOR tagView attachment 226301 View attachment 226302Let me mention that a 71 Polara mirror is different than a 72 mirror, found out the hard way. Good thing I also grabbed one from a 73 Monaco...its the same as a 72.View attachment 226303 View attachment 226304 View attachment 226305 Installing a right mirror is a huge upgrade for me, it's so much nicer backing in and out of the garage. Highway commuting is easier too.
I like your power seat conversion. That took some ‘strategery’.Spent some time last week installing a power seat base. It was on a set of burgundy seats that I found on Facebook. Was told they were out of a 75 Monaco coupe, which makes sense because there's a button on the side of the seat that allows them to fold forward.View attachment 194240 View attachment 194241It was really easy to pull the seat out of this wagon, the nuts spun right off the seat studs. Gotta love a car from the Pacific Northwest!View attachment 194242 View attachment 194243View attachment 194244 Was hoping to find a silver coin or something cool, but the only things interesting was a Chuckie Cheese token from the 80s and this label on the carpeting.View attachment 194245Swapping the bases was as simple as removing 4 bolts.View attachment 194246 View attachment 194247The trim covering the switch was different, but fortunately I found one earlier on a junkyard trip.View attachment 194248
