1972 Newport Parting Out

I am parting out what used to be a wonderful LOL (little ole lady) 4 door brown with white interior car. We used to drive it but other sportier cars usually got precedence over a land yacht. Needless to say, it got parked in a nice soft dirt area and sunk in. The frame is soo shot that the car tried to fold in half when I jacked it up under the K member. Anyway, anything you can think of you need please let me know because once I get the engine out, if a scrapper comes along it may go with them. I would rather you have the parts then they have the scrap... :car flipper:

I've been looking for two small trim parts on the base of the "A" pillar approx 3 inches long and made of stainless steel. I believe used to hold the vinyl top on the base of the "A" pillar - thanks in advance for looking.

What does the steering wheel look like?

I am interested in the speedometer I believe it is a horizontal about 10 to 12' long and is from 0 to 120. Maybe you would want to sell the cluster? Also is the washer bottle in good shape? Not broken. It should be mounted next to the battery and it has a steel bracket riveted to the bottom that bolts to the inner fender sheet metal close to the battery. Thanks for replying Surfman

I do not see straps, I see door handles. Hope these pics help.
As far as the speedo, it is on zero, have not looked to see how accurately but it is on zero.
Stuff looks grubby from sitting but am assuming it would clean up pretty good.
