1978 NYB New Engine.....

Some update pictures. Had to add a vacuum canister for safety reasons.

I have some new video but of course it says the files are too large.

Anybody have any ideas on how to clean up the white plastic on the overflow tank and the washer reservoir.

I have engine Gunk and could spray and soak and then scrub with a brush.

Somebody here on FCBO always has a better solution of doing things....

School me on the purpose of this canister plz..

The vacuum is kind of low with the aggressive cam that I have. So when I hit the brakes the first time everything is good to go. If I have to hit the brakes a 2nd time the vacuum is gone and I have a stiff brake pedal. That aluminum canister is a secondary vacuum canister and will ensure that I have a good brake pedal on the 2nd pump if needed. I just feel safer with the additional vacuum and a kind of normal brake pedal if I have to slow down the 5100 lb blue beast in a hurry.

Race cars use these vacuum canisters all the time especially with aggressive cams.
