I can get a top from Auto Interiors in 2 weeks.
 
It's an unfortunate attitude of many companies. They know what they have, so they don't care.

I think in this case, SMS has large customers that come first... and it shows up in poor customer service to the little guy.

I know a guy out here that is one of their large customers and he says he gets the same shitty service that Bob is getting.

Don't they do catalog work? If their real concern is filling orders for jcwhittney or whomever, you will always be a small account to them.

I am not excusing them, just pointing out why they are unlikely to change.

I'm sure they lose a lot of business because of their piss poor attitude and customer service. It is a shame if it's true that they have all of this catalog business. I would be embarrassed if I was the owner of this company. I wish I was a younger man (maybe right after I retired from the Army). I would start a competing business to try to put them out of business.
 
Part of this mess is my fault too. I should of ordered the top last year. I didn't anticipate that it would take 3 months to have a simple NYB top made.

If you haven't already, I would open a complaint with the CC co. There is a time limit on canceling transactions (I think 90 days), You want to start things before you get truly locked in. Just think, if you had ordered from the other supplier when the first one failed, it would be on the car this week.

I pay all credit cards off every month. It's been paid in full for almost 2 months already.
 
You can still initiate a chargeback even though you pay in full every month. Been there, done that.
 
Well......the new top is suppose to overnighted and delivered Thursday.
