It's an unfortunate attitude of many companies. They know what they have, so they don't care.
I think in this case, SMS has large customers that come first... and it shows up in poor customer service to the little guy.

If you haven't already, I would open a complaint with the CC co. There is a time limit on canceling transactions (I think 90 days), You want to start things before you get truly locked in. Just think, if you had ordered from the other supplier when the first one failed, it would be on the car this week.I'm starting to worry about that......

That doesn't affect their willingness to reverse charges if notified in the timeframeI pay all credit cards off every month. It's been paid in full for almost 2 months already.
You can still initiate a chargeback even though you pay in full every month. Been there, done that.
