2017 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals July 14-16

I have kept my mouth shut this year up to now, I said i would bring the GT to the show last year but that fizzled with the issues , then this year I have been slowly sorting it and I still have the heads off as we speak. So with that in mind i have to pull the plug again and say I will be a no show. Sighs, I have yet to go to a Carlisle event, I am sure it would be a mind blowing experience for a guy who has only been to shows of no more than 150 cars.

Gary: I am so disappointed for you. As I know you have struggled with this issue for so long. I know that once you find the problem, you will have it fixed in short order. However, we sure will miss seeing you and your car at Carlisle.

Oh. . . And one more thing: You don't hafta bring a car to Carlisle. Just come anyway.

The old girl is continuing her obstinacy, think we're just gonna go in the truck. Do they have a spot on the field for newer trucks? (I'd rather park close to the action, don't care about showing the truck, just don't wanna walk any more than necessary.)

Just stop at the Gate 3 entrance, and ask them to update your credentials. I did this two years ago, and it was no problem.

On the positive side of things I'll have more room for "goodies" I find...... :D

I may not even be feeling well enough to go. I'll see how I'm feeling Friday night and decide whether or not I'm going to make it there this year.
That will be a bummer if you can't make it Bob, but with the heat and your recent afib thing going on you better think of your health. See how you feel and check to see how hot it's gonna be.

Bob, as much as I want to see you there, I want to keep seeing you there in the future more... don't push it, but if you do come... we will be the lousiest bunch of old nurse maids we can manage, to help you out.

I'm already seeing the scooter races with Jer in my mind.

Thanks. I'll just have to wait until Friday night and see how I'm feeling. Right now I'm not feeling good. It might be best if I recover this year and come next year.

As much as I'm sure you would be missed, it might be best to stay home and get better.

I parked on the hill 10 years ago (fun field for Corvettes) and that hill can be a real ***** to climb up at the end of the day. If I were you, I wouldn't bring your car in if you have to park there.

The white washed cinder block showerz and potty stalls building on the west side of the hill iz ah double row of OPEN PARKING area that they won't tell you about. It'z KITTY CORNER from the green field and rite around the building and back to gate 3 for your RENT-A- SCOOTY. Pull up in that area and lock the doorz and you're good to go Bob. They in no way in hell will tow you? Jer

Your right, listen to your body... and, maybe, the doctor.
