I'm thinking one. Not sure which... by now I suppose you guys know just how "seat of the pants" I tend to operate. I wish I could put one in order and leave it up that way somewhere... I really hate how expensive the travel is. I already intend to put a bunch of miles on something once I reach the approximate latitude...Jeff, are planning to bring 1 or both of the twins?
I have a car trailer... You have something that should pull it good. I bet we can work something out. I plan to go up way early, but would be game for the return trip.I don't want to commit %100. Butttt I am shooting for this year! Gonna bust my tail, and hopefully this will be the "unveiling" show for the Bluesmobile.
I'm gonna look into rooms and travel arangments this next week, and see if all will be good with work.
Jeff, obviously we have time lol. But if you want to convoy let me know. Blumo will be driving the trip. If something happens and it can't go, I'll hop in the truck and go. But I want the car out and about this year!
Stan, where you at?? A convoy of formals heading from FL would just be BADASS!!
It's about a half hour away. I've stayed there at a couple of the different hotels and never had any big issues. IIRC, there was a steakhouse that was right near the hotels that was pretty good, but that was 10 years ago since I've stayed in that area. Obviously, these hotels are going to be full of folks going to Carlisle, so you will be in good company.Anyone that can give a critique of New Cumberland?

You can always head into Harrisburg in the evening if you are looking for a better variety of Restaurants.
If you are coming all that distance, I'm going to suggest that you come a day early or stay a day later and hit the AACA museum in Hershey while you are there.

I need to ask Rip about the auto train again. Looked at that last night too while the neighborhood artillery was going on (idiots and fireworks, love that part of Florida), About a grand round trip... and $1500, if you want a bed. I have an Uncle in Vienna I could impose myself on... but I am thinking the break even might not be worth it to me after all.
I was trying... seems it was a misguided effort. If there is anything I/we can do that is of benefit... please let us know. I am thinking of trying to get the Garlits folks to recognize us... just to keep the small gang that shows up close together there. Will may have already straightened that out for us though.
It's a local driver right now. It isn't ready for that long a drive yet. I haven't gone through the entire car yet.You won't drive it?
