Looks like the hurricane impact is not going to be as severe as they originally forecast for Maryland. I hope it stays that way!

Best of luck to all my comrades south of me!

Well, what can I say, Greenville here it comes.

Alright, latest update on the storm, I'm in the big purple area NNE of Wilmington. I see there will be some affects as far North as Norfolk, @1970FuryConv (Ben) is in that area. Umm, @Yeahrightgreer is right near Wilmington. @C Body Bob is north east of Raleigh, lucky SOB, LOL. And I'm not sure where Jer lives? Who else is in the affected zone?

In my part of Virginia, they are now predicting winds of up 12mph! Scary stuff. But they are predicting a lot of rain. Flooding is still a good possibility. Most schools are closed Friday. I was worried about very wet ground and lots of trees tumbling over. 12 mph max is a big relief.

The Atlantic is a regular party right now... and the Gulf looks to be working on an after party.

Ol' Florence looks to be shifting her landfall to catch as much coastline as she can... but dang... she's predicted to just sit on you guys forever. Good luck to all who are in the affected areas, I will be thinking of you.
