3 sp manual 64 NY'er

I never liked that Fury body much but it looks like its in nice shape.....
Yeah..... The 61 Plymouth was a love it or hate it body style. Most hated it and sales suffered. Exner lost his job over it.
I love that it is so unusual, especially being a convertible. The original poly 318 has been rebuilt and the car runs great.

All of that early 60's styling is cool. I like them a lot even today.

Stan, are you really looking for something else or talking out your *** like I do about buying another.
Every one of my cars has been "the last car I will ever buy"....
Plus I talk out my *** about everthing. Wanna see my "lips" move?

That manual-transmission Newport is cool. Only problem with that car is that you turn the A/C on (or off) every time you shift into first gear. :)

The 4-speed cars used the French-made Pont-a-Mousson tranny, but being a 3-speed, this one should not be a problem.

seems there are a few out there........I found this the other day, a '64 300 with 4 spd manual!

Interesting but I can't quite put my finger on why I suspect it's NOT a "factory" 4 speed. I'm going to think about it some more and figure out why. My best Mopar bud down here is a guru on 63-64's. He'll know instantaneously.

I can see why you have doubts. The shifter looks like an aftermarket addition and placement just doesn't look right.

Solved!
With a 383, you could only get a 3 speed stick
The 4 speed was available only with the 413.
Plus, that's not a 300 interior.

here's a few pics i found online of another car..........appears to have the same shifter:

Too much bastardization in that blue haze car to determine the truth. It needs to be seen in person.

yes, polara71 and i were discussing that.......like wth happened to the pics?

Look at your camera. There should be a setting for lighting conditions.
You get that blue hue if the white balance is not set.
