After following the progress on your "barge on a budget thread", I'm sure there will be others glad to see your Chrysler at the show in Volo.
Everything is close to Six Flags and greater Chicago.May have to book 35 KM's out of the way.That area is very down to earth, it shouldn't be hard to find a simple and clean hotel. Maybe a bit elevated during water season?
