Here is more progress. I need to get 100 grit sand paper for the file sander. I guess my part is over. Its my dad's turn but I will feel guilty about not being able to help out .
Do you think dad would adopt me? I would love to have a bodyman on "staff"...I am taking photos of the progress but I was told my part of the work is done. This is my dad's work not mine I went down to the garage and there is more progress.
It will be a while before its done. I plan to go down to the garage later to see if there has been more progress. If there has been some then I will take photos and upload themDo you think dad would adopt me? I would love to have a bodyman on "staff".... This is really going to be a sweet car when you are finished, I hope to get to see it in person one day.
Is dad retiring, or are you looking to slow down with this much work? I admire the effort to redo such a rare car. When this car is finished it will be the last and final car my dad is going to restore for me. I will let him change the oil and rotate the tires when needed
He is a retired tire salesman he does this as a hobby. Here is more progress of the restoration. I noticed the cancer inside the rear quarters . I am not blaming the person who sold me the car. I know these cars did not survive well because of the salt on the road during the Winter Months. Is dad retiring, or are you looking to slow down with this much work? I admire the effort to redo such a rare car.
They look like the cheep ClassicParts4U parts, don't let the pictures fool you, the grooves are not even close to the originals.Where did you get the trunk floor extension panels?
I understand what you're saying, Alan. They look like the cheep ClassicParts4U parts, don't let the pictures fool you, the grooves are not even close to the originals.
