Seller's description

Very rare crown jewel, or should I say a diamond in the rough - 1965 crown Imperial Ghia limo - 413 engine , push button ( not column shift ) runs , drives good, 98 k mi. 1 of 10 built, - 1 of 3 known to exist, I was told by the previous owner that some of the 65 Ghia s were lost at sea being transported to the U.S.we owned it for nearly 20 years, It may be the last Ghia built, and we went over drivetrain, exhaust, brakes and most of the mechanics, but became disabled in 2010 and had brain tumor removed in 2012 and unable to finish body and interior, was on the road in 2017, car has a decent frame, trunk floor , front floor boards and outer quarters, but needs bottoms of doors, rear floor work, outer rockers and has rust on driver's front fender and small dent in roof and all interior except dash re done in Wich I was going to buy a donor 64 - 66 for metal and paint plum crazy , price $ 48, 500. B.O. may take Imp, cuda , other Mopar in on a partial trade, ph. [hidden information] or Mes.

While trying to be sensitive that hte seller has some significant health issues, it sure would've been a travesty if he had completed this car and painted it plum crazy purple.
I cannot fathom the taste some people have.

Considering it started out at $165,000, this new price is an absolute steal (not).

Would be nice to have deep pockets and restore it correctly.
We went and bought lottery tickets today.
A coincidence, though, the Ghia was not the reason.

I have no idea where you'd take a car like this to have it restored, so that would be an obstacle for me if we win.
But after that's sorted out, I think I'd visit the seller with $25k in a briefcase, show it to them, and make it very clear that if it wasn't enough $$$, upon leaving the premises I would not be returning.
AKA take it or leave it.

But I don't think he nor I need to worry about that scenario.

He is also selling a '62 LeBaron without much success, asking prices are too steep. $25K is probably generous considering the condition of this limousine, restoration would be well north of $100K. Good luck with the ticket entries.

I would appreciate the opportunity to decode the VIN and Fender Tags of this rare car--to test and confirm my decoder-under construction. N/C, ever. I see you also have a '62 Imperial and I would love to decode that car's tags, also. Full VIN's not required if concerned--just the first four characters of the VIN. Please post or PM to me. Happy New Year in any case.

Given the condition of this car two things are apparent. 1. It needs EVERYTHING. 2. The decimal in the asking price needs to move one to the left.

Restoration of this car would be a whole lot closer to $200k than $100.
