Hello,
I figured I introduced myself in the main part of the forum but should add to the wagon section.
This is my 66 polara wagon. It was abandoned before I was born basically and I’m trying to get the title and resurrect it.
It’s got a 325hp 383 (even with the 2 barrel) and I’m planning to spruce it up with some aftermarket parts and a 4 speed.
The engine has a ton of rat related stuff down the carb but I’m hoping it’s just the carburetor holding all of that.
In theory if it’s not rusty inside it probably just needs a regasket on the top end.
It’s stored where it’s reasonably dry so I don’t think it got moisture down inside the engine.
A question I have for you guys is how to get the rear hatch open, someone looked to have smashed a key into it and on top of that I’m not sure how it’s supposed to open.
I heard something about the window rolling down with the rectangular thing on the back the key hole is in, but it doesn’t seem to budge.
