66 torqeflite shift adjustment

My 66 318 poly shifts too fast. I would like it to wind up at a little higher rpm before it shifts from 1st to 2nd and second to 3rd.

How do I do this??:silent:

No, when leaving from a stop. I tried adjusting the kick down rod so it looks like I'd have to fool with the govenor.
