Wouldn't it just be faster/easier to buy armoured lengths of steel line and make them up with a double flare tool and tubing bender?

Don't mess up the exhaust tips...they should be tucked up tastefully under the car and barely visible on an Imperial. Ideally with the correct "bologna cut". There's a company that makes exact reproduction exhaust, but I forgot the name of the company. I'd use their pipes.

That is a beauty that you have there. As far as the exhaust goes I agree completely with Mr. C keep the tips tucked up nearly out of sight. Also, be careful that they don't put mufflers on that will make it too loud.

Picked up this '67 Imperial recently. It's a one family-owned car that was purchased new in my home town. I bought it from the granddaughter of the original owner. It has its original black paint, shows 57K miles, and came with the window sticker. Runs and drives nicely!

That is nice. I actually looked at '67s as well. That color combination with those miles...quite a find.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'll be taking it to some local car shows, but until I can get the windows working, I'd be afraid to go any distance. Just bought a new toy today, so the new one will get my attention . nothing very glamours, new Ram truck, but I needed something to replace my 2004 Chevy which was a very good truck.
