He sure did...wow.Thank you. No,...... Legendary, Or anyone else, has covers available for the 67 Polara 500. A trimmer near me made them. He was able to source the material through one of his suppliers. He did a great job, I think.
I'm really jealous of your front seats....
Thanks, But you should be envious, not jealous.
Now that I'm not so hung on the survivor aspect of this car. I may go ahead and have Berry do the rear seat and arm rest also. Might be TO nice with a new top. I'm pretty proud of the original paint though. I think that will stay the same.
I'm ordering all the good stuff I need to reassemble and detail the engine. Once I get past cleaning everything up, then the fun begins.
I dropped the cylinder heads at the shop today. Will receive all new valves.
Cleaned parts all day yesterday and will be doing that for awhile. So, nothing exciting to report.
Hey Wil. What are you having done to your heads? The usual seat inserts, larger exhaust valves, etc?
Recondition to OEM spec Rip. New steel valves, seats ground, seals, knurl the guides. He'll call if any surprises. I don't expect there will be anything bad there.
Cost $502.00
You think this kinda snowballed? No word from the powder coater yet.
