Classic station wagons have been highly sought after for several years now but it's difficult to find a really nice one. The main reason is supply and demand.
At one time they were not considered very collectable and most ended up in the scrap yard. We are happy the big Town and Country presented here escaped that fate. This wagon runs as good as it looks and we think you will agree it looks great
Inside the wood border is a special air brushed wood grain finish that amps up the cool factor to the NTH degree. The car has been lowered down over those custom wheels to further enhance that long and low look.
All the cosmetics and eye appeal items have been tended to so what about the mechanical side?.
The 383 motor mated to the torqueflite transmission work exactly as they should and with that custom dual exhaust it sounds fantastic. This wagon is not in need of any mechanical repairs and is ready to go.
We have logged several miles on this big and beautiful hauler and can accurately state it runs and drives very nicely with no issues.
Fold down the rear seats, drop the tail gate, and there is a space ten and a half feet long. You can haul paneling or better yet, how about a tail gate party in style?

Nice wagon. Few things I don't like....T-bars cranked down, wheels & tires, and the trim going through the side vinyl.

Wow that wood grain is painted on and not a vinyl sheet application.

I'm one of few who seem to like Cragars. Wouldn't put them on this Station wagon but period correct and not bad looking.

When I was a kid...... 30 - 35 Yeats ago I didn't like Cragars at all. Even then I liked C body road Wheels over all after market wheels. I liked the Keystone Classics back then too, now, not so much.
My preference for aftermarket wheels now are the Torq Thrusts..... They look good on almost anything old

I like everything about this wagon except the added trim over the woodgrain area. I see what they were trying for but it fell short for sure. These Cragers I don't mind, the SSTs, the solid ones I've alway thought were horrible. I like keystones and love Torque Thrusts and the like.

My Preference in some way overlaps. Torq Thrusts are no. 1 aftermarket choice for me as well, Cragar second. Used to be just the other way around 30 years ago.

I kind of agree with both Dave and Matt in a way in that my opinion has altered over time but still really like stock wheels

I didn't care for almost any aftermarket wheel when i was younger .. I wanted original mopar wheels or steel wheels .. I always liked the Torque Thrusts though

I didn't' care for Keystones and didn't like slots at all .. now I can appreciate both but probably will continue to run steel wheels or original style Mopar wheels

Exception I have been thinking about going with some 17 5 spoke wheels when I get my R/T on the road someday

like these .. which are kind of like larger torque thrusts

Forgot about the Hursts, but they had been pretty scarce in the past I think, they were heavy and expensive.
Repros are available now I think.

I didn't like Cragar's 40 years ago and still don't like them now. The back of the wheels weren't solid metal and I cracked a few of them. The Keystones were OK. I liked the American Racing wheels back and the Torque Thrusts.
