69 Fury 1 2 dr 6 cyl 3 speed manual.

Took the fury to the first car show of the season this weekend! Mopars in the park and it was a huge turnout this year with fantastic weather. I put the fury in the display only class, the interior is not done yet so dint want any judging done to it really. However it had loads of people coming over and taking pics and even a few guys videoing it. Lots of nice comments and lots of questions about it. All in all a great weekend and the car ran great. Made the trip down and back two days in a row without any issue other than a bad brake lite switch.

Hi All! It has been a while since posting anything with my car. I am actually taking it to storage on wednesday afternoon for the long winter, my 19 yr old son picked up a 68 440 sport satellite and he wants to do some work on it this winter so I said sure I'll store mine. It was a fun summer with it and got a bunch of miles on it. Still needs some stuff as they always do! The int still needs work but hope to have the $$$ for that come spring. I have to say for a car that was off the road for 20 plus years it still drives pretty nice. It will get a new front end kit though. I am also putting in a 3.55 sure-grip that came with my sons satellite the guy threw in the deal on it. I might put in an automatic for now as I have a fresh 727 with a mild stall and shift kit as well as a hurst floor shifter for an automatic. The three speed in it kind of sucks, it works but its very "farm truckish" super low first and then fall on its face second etc, Lol. I wanna do a 4 speed eventually but with all the right linkage and a good tranny as we all know it gets spendy very quick and it needs other stuff first so I think once out of storage that may be the route I go for a while. Sorry to go on and on. I do have loads of pics from the summer with it and will post some up tonight if I have time! Hope you are all doing good!

Some pics from this summer with my fury, the satellite is my 19 yr olds. We got the satellite in Alabama in June has a mild built 440 727 in it. It is now getting a new floor pan and trunk pan in it, then finish the interior off.

Lol, I don't wanna kill ya! Hope you like a few new pics of, as my buddy named it " Hellz Fury" Sad I had to put it into storage for the winter last week. My son asked if we could work on his Satellite over the winter so I wont see it again till April 8th :(

Just had to share this story as I thought it was pretty cool. A guy I am "friends" with on facebook who lives in germany showed his buddy a few pictures of my car and he just had to have one just like it. He looked for one for a while I guess and did finally find a good car to start with, a plain 6 cyl automatic fury 1. He had it shipped over and is restoring it and turning it into the twin to my car. He sent me some pictures of it and at first I thought they were piccs of my car! It looks exactly like mine. I am not sure if he will swap in a big block like I have though.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I did have it for sale last summer for a while. Nobody had any money to buy it! I was asking what I thought was a decent price, I was down to 7900 on it. I did have a trade offer but declined. I am glad I kept it. I really just need to hang onto it and finish off the things that need to be done and enjoy it.

Hi All. I hope everyone had a good Christmas! I have the chance to buy a front end rebuild kit made by moog. The guy said, and he sent me pics with the part #'s on the boxes that is was a "police spec" kit. Would that work on my car? being it was an orig 6 cyl car it would be a nice upgrade I would think. He wants 300.00 for the kit.

I saw a 70 Fury 1 like this in a body shop's yard about 20 years ago. The body shop closed and I don't know what became of it. Does anyone have a breakdown of how many manual trans cars were made in the C bodies from year to year in the 60s -70s? With any engine. I suppose the one I saw and the one that this article is about were salesman cars, fleet other than taxi as wear on a auto car would be less than standard (or manual) cars

It would interesting to know the answer as to how many stick cars were made. I would not think very many. Mine must have been some kind of a fleet type car being a zero option car, no p/s or anything.

This "how many of this with that" and "how many of those with this" stuff can't be done with C-bodies.
That's all Chevy and Fird ****.
Settle for, Not many, or, A few, etc, as your answers with these cars. Common sense. Nos. mean crap to me.
Break any car down enough, and you can call any car 1of 1. Even a beige Toyota Corolla.

I don,t recall the source but was told .2% were manual on my 68 sport fury.

What a great thread! I am new here but awhile ago I had decided on a 69 Fury as I think they look great and are still relatively reasonable. Best thing is you never see them! Congrats on your car, it looks fabulous and is just what I was and am envisioning for mine,,steel wheels and all!

Find the guy with the right sales report or option and accessories report and he can give you an accurate number.
We had a guy here with those reports
