'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

IMO, if the frame/undercarriage is gone, the whole car should be stripped and crushed unless it's a 1 of sumtin and you have a 100 grand to put into it's restoration and get 50k back when you sell it.

Depends. I find it pretty difficult to imagine a car needing only the front sub-frame.

o.k. ..... I need a frame for my white car but thats due to a collision. I was waiting for you to say yes then game on but you didnt bite

Finished my 727 (still have a few things to put on/replace before it goes into the car), also gave the steelies a sand and shot them with a bit of black. They'll do for now, when I get new tires I'll sandblast them and have them powder coated.

More to come, have my brake parts on order.

I think you wheel choice is a fantastic combo but its gotta be on the right car
I love the steel wheel/dog dish look to. Just not sure a convertible is the right place for them. I see a convertible as an exercise in extravagance and think full wheel covers, or road wheels are more appropriate. JMHO...
I also understand the budget thing... Hubcaps are easy to change...

I despise Full wheel covers to death and in my opinion my Fury's Factory wheel covers make me want to gouge my eyes out with a knife.

as far as when it'll be running, it runs now, the question is when I'll be driving it.

I always liked the 69 Sport Fury covers. The best wheels on the 69's are the Kelsey- Hayes road wheels...................

Yes, that's what it means.

Didn't do too much today, just a bit of disassembley so I can attack the floors next, pulled the seat, and old top out, removed the kick panels and started ripping out the old floor covering and insulation.

I'll start with the pictures from Thursday.
