I kinda was Dave, Wanted you guys to see what my Next Plymouth might look like, well I shouldn't say that, my next might be a '69 RR, a friend of the family called after he found out I was restoring the Plymouth, he wants me to go look at a '69 RR he has in his back yard, it's a 383 RR /727 combo, he said it's rusty, I laughed a little and mentioned the availability of aftermarket panels.

So we'll see, if it's too far gone, I'll part it, and keep the 383/727 for my next C body (which may or may not be that '68 with the clapped out 360) I need to hotrod something.

So there is a limit to what you think is too far gone?

LOL! There is a limit for me on rust from now on......no rust at all.

My only limit would be time and Funds, but if I think I can't save it, It's pretty damn bad, I'm not affraid to tackle anything that comes my way, it's one of the things that makes me good at what I do for a living.

my 318 is painted, photos to follow later.

I'm a happy Camper.

Scraped this out of the Harmonic Balancer

Still need to go and get a few things for it from the scrap yard (wingnut, & 2 wire looms)

Well, called my bodyman this morning, Sunday I'll bring it home, my girl is going to go with me to get it, so I'm happy about that. Tomorrow I'll hit the scrap yard and see if i can get two looms to replace the missing ones on my 318.

Nick I love to see your posts (well except for your fetish with 318's .. kidding) .. it's really refreshing to see a young man looking forward to going to a junkyard which was one of my favorite pastimes as a younger man and still would be if there were one that was worthwhile, and would let me roam, anywhere near me. When I was in Wichita Falls, TX back in the early to late 80's there were a lot of yards around Sheppard AFB. Then I saw the easterners (no offense folks they were saving them or the parts anyway) come down with rigs and haul a lot of the desirable B and E bodies back to the east coast then the owners crushed the rest (later B, E, and all of the earlier A, B and C bodies) because it was quick cash and they didn't' have the numbers of, or sought after cars to make it worthwhile anymore or the owners heirs didn't want to get dirty.

There's only one good yard left in this area and the yard owner and my grandfather went way back (my grandfather used to get parts for his Model t from Art) so I'm a preffered customer so to say, I park in the yard next to Art's truck, he tells me to take parts half the time if there small, he's interested in scrap, he hardly touches the cars, he's got stuff back to the 30's.

Scrap yard wasn't pleasant, forgot it had rained twice this week. My poor Truck, it was clean.

Anyway reassembled the engine and added the new-used looms, yes the firing order is correct and yes I'm kinda anal when it comes to the way the wires are on the looms. Going to get the trailer around 6:30 tonight.

Nick

oh yeah one question, the condensor wire goes on the positive or negative Coil terminal?

Boy I had a busy work week and you had a busy car week the engine looks great Nick.
